Tainan Park is located between Gongyuan Road and Beimen Road, north of Tainan Railway Station. It was established in the 6th year of the Republic of China (1917), and was formerly known as Zhongshan Park. It is now commonly referred to as Tainan Park. This expansive park is especially beautiful at dusk, where one can stroll through and enjoy the sunset views while being gently caressed by the breeze, offering a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. Within the park, there are facilities such as a children's playground, a fountain, the Tainan Zhongshan Children's Science Education Museum, and a music stage, making it an ideal spot for family visits or organizing family activities. Under the current efforts of the Mayor of Tainan City, the old walls surrounding the park were extensively renovated. A large portion of the old red brick walls were removed, and features such as wooden walkways, accessible paths, and planted trees and flowers were added. This has helped blend the park’s natural beauty with the cityscape. The park’s lush greenery, blooming flowers, and various tropical plants make it a perfect location for photography, and it has become a popular spot for wedding photo shoots in the Tainan area. Today, Tainan Park is not only a recreational space for local residents but also a vibrant venue for various events, performances, and gatherings.

Bus: Take buses No. 6, 10, or 17 of Tainan City Bus → get off at the Nan'er Zhong station → you will reach Tainan Park.

Take the Xinshi Interchange on National Highway No. 1 → drive on Route 1 towards the city center → continue along Gongyuan South Road to the Beimen Road intersection → you will reach Tainan Park.

Take the Rende Interchange on National Highway No. 1 → head towards Dongmen Road towards the city center → turn at Dongmen Roundabout onto Beimen Road → pass Tainan Railway Station → continue north → you will reach Tainan Park.
