Bo Yang, born Guo Ding-sheng on March 7, 1920, and later changed his name to Guo Yi-dong, was a renowned Taiwanese literary figure and thinker. He passed away on April 29, 2008, at the age of 88. Throughout his life, Bo Yang was deeply concerned with human rights, freedom, and dignity, especially after enduring nearly a decade of political imprisonment. His literary works, exceeding 100 volumes, have had a profound impact on both domestic and international academic circles. The Bo Yang Museum, located at 33, Section 2, Shulin Street, West Central District, Tainan City, is housed in a building that was once faculty dormitories of National University of Tainan. The museum is divided into four exhibition areas: "Bo Yang's Major Events," "Bo Yang's Cultural Relics Collection," "Garden New City," and "Bo Yang's Publishing Chronicle." It is open to the public, allowing visitors to learn about Bo Yang's life and legacy.
