National University of Tainan (NUTN) is a national university located in the West Central District of Tainan City, Taiwan. In 2006, it received funding from the Ministry of Education of the Republic of China under the "Teaching Excellence Project" for national universities. Its predecessor, Tainan Normal School of the Taiwan Governor-General's Office (commonly known as Tainan Normal College), transitioned from a teacher training institution to a comprehensive university in 2004 and was renamed National University of Tainan. The university's founding dates back to 1899 during the Japanese colonial period, giving it a history spanning over a century.

Bus (Weekdays): Take Bus Route 0 Left Line and alight at the City Sports Park. Walk along Tiyu Road to enter the south gate of the university.
Bus (Weekends and Holidays): Take Bus Route 88 (Tourist Bus) to Fahua Temple Station. Walk along Section 2 of Shulin Street to enter the north gate of the university.
High-Speed Rail (HSR): From Exit 2, take Bus Route 31, a free shuttle bus to the city government, departing every 20 minutes. To reach the "Honor Campus," alight at " Dalin Public Housing" To reach the "Fucheng Campus," alight at " Koxinga Shrine"
Driving Directions:
Exit the highway at Rende Interchange (toward Tainan City) → Proceed along Dongmen Road (straight) → Pass Great East Gate (straight) → At Great East Gate Roundabout, turn left (southbound) onto Datong Road → Turn right onto Section 2 of Shulin Street → Pass NUTN Affiliated Primary School → Arrive at the university.
