Introduction
What local fishermen refer to as "Neihaizi" is actually Qigu Lagoon. This unique lagoon landscape was shaped by four major course changes of the Zengwen River, making it the largest lagoon in Taiwan today. The area boasts abundant ecological resources, with more than 30 species of crabs and over 200 species of fish, shrimp, and shellfish. It serves as the primary source of livelihood for approximately 20,000 local residents.
