This is the only memorial hall in Taiwan dedicated to preserving stories of love, illness, medical history, and the enduring spirit of Taiwan. It faithfully documents how, during the brutal outbreak of Blackfoot disease in 1957 across areas such as Xuejia and Beimen in Tainan, and Budai and Yizhu in Chiayi County, the Mustard Seed Mission and Dr. Wang Jin-He joined forces to establish the “Gate of Mercy” — a place offering free medical consultations and treatment for afflicted patients.
