Shigu Cultural Village is the predecessor of the Rende Sugar Factory. In 2000, Tainan locals established the first drum art village that combines drumming arts, sports, leisure, and natural ecology, to pass on the art of drumming. The number "ten" symbolizes the intersection of two drumsticks, representing the gathering of strength from all directions. In 2004, the village broke the Guinness World Record for having one thousand people drumming at the same time, bringing great international attention to Taiwan. Shigu Cultural Village features the History Introduction Hall, World Drum Museum, Mulan Saving Mother Animation Museum, Souvenir Hall, Shigu Vegetable Garden, Crescent Moon Pond, Water Tank Theater, Orange Bridge Theater, Small Theater, Drum Experience Classroom, Children's Play Area, Camping Area, Parent-Child Meadow, Forest Breathing Trail, and Lotus Pond Trail. The World Drum Museum primarily exhibits East Asian percussion instruments. Additionally, the Drum Experience Classroom offers one or two dozen small drums for visitors to learn drumming arts and enjoy the fun of drumming, making it a great place for both adults and children to learn and play! Moreover, Shigu Cultural Village offers five drum performances every day, allowing visitors to appreciate drumming arts while enjoying the cultural village. It’s a must-visit destination!

1. From Zhongshan Highway → 86 East-West Expressway (Hunei/Tainan) → First traffic light turn right → Drive straight and take the underpass → Shigu Cultural Village.

2. Provincial Road: Turn onto Hushan Road → Shigu Cultural Village.

3. From city center: Dongmen Rd / Chongshan Rd / Chongde Rd towards Guanmiao → Rende Wenhua Rd → Jiuwang Temple → Hushan Rd → Shigu Cultural Village.
