Baihe Lotus Park covers an area of over 4 hectares. In 1996, the Lotus Viewing Pavilion was constructed. Later, the park was developed based on the features of the site, and now includes facilities such as a parking lot, lotus fields, walking trails, a recreational forest area, and the viewing pavilion. It is a multifunctional park ideal for leisure, exercise, and lotus appreciation.
The Lotus Viewing Pavilion is a two-story structure built with natural timber. From the top, visitors can overlook a vast sea of lotus. In the early morning, the dewdrops on lotus leaves and blooming flowers offer a serene view; on rainy days, the gentle sound of raindrops hitting the lotus leaves stirs ripples in the water; and during sunset, the colorful clouds reflect on the lotus sea, creating a poetic and picturesque scene.
The best time to enjoy the lotus blossoms is from June to September. The entire park transforms into a sea of lotus, with a gentle breeze carrying a refreshing fragrance. Whether sitting or lying in any corner of the park, one can experience a rare and delightful moment of tranquility — a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of life.
