The Twelve Tien God Banyan Tree is located at No. 54, Lane 4, Section 4, Gongxue Road, Annan District, Tainan City, situated between the Tainan City area and the Zengwen River. In the past, the Zengwen River often caused flooding, which greatly troubled the local residents. Afterward, the God of War, Guan Sheng Di Jun, revealed his divine power and instructed the planting of this banyan tree. Following this, the floods stopped, and the residents began to regard the tree as a sacred tree and offered sacrifices to it. Today, the banyan tree covers an area of more than 3000 square meters and resembles a small forest. Several banyan trees are intertwined, with branches crossing and roots intertwining, creating a unique and distinctive sight.
