Attraction Information:
Located on the western side of Tainan City's South District, the coastline here stretches for several kilometers along the Taiwan Strait. The combination of soft sandy shores and the vast blue sea creates a stunning and refreshing view. Especially at sunset, the brilliant golden light reflects off the sky, sea, and sand, casting a golden hue across the entire scene. This mesmerizing sight has earned the area the name "Golden Coast," attracting numerous visitors to enjoy its beauty.
In response to the rising popularity of cycling as a leisure activity in recent years, the Tainan City Government established the "Tainan Golden Coast Bicycle Path" to allow the public to appreciate the breathtaking scenery while riding.
With an investment of NT$46 million, the Golden Coast bicycle path stretches across the Kunshen, Xishu, and Wanli areas. It was developed along the top of the coastal dike and links Longgang Elementary School, the Golden Coast Visitor Center, and the Water Park, forming a scenic seaside cycling route.

Starting from the Kunshen Seaside Overpass opposite Longgang Elementary School, cyclists can enjoy the captivating coastal views. On the return trip, you may retrace the same route or detour into nearby alleyways, where the quiet charm of the small town may offer unexpected delights.
