Introduction
Shuren Elementary School, officially known as Tainan Municipal Shuren Elementary School, is a century-old public elementary school located in Houbi District, Tainan City. Established on April 1, 1912, during the Japanese colonial period, it was originally named Wushulin(烏樹林) Elementary School and situated within the Wushulin Sugar Refinery. The school has preserved its historical architecture and cultural heritage over the years. It served as one of the filming locations for the Taiwanese television drama "Colorful Mind" (2009), a remake of the classic story "Lu-Pin Flower," written by Taiwanese writer Chung Chao-cheng.
