The Xinhua Street Office is located in Xinhua District, Tainan City, Taiwan. It is the only remaining street office building south of Changhua. The building served as the public office of Xinhua Street during the Japanese occupation period and later became the Xinhua Township Office until a new building was completed in 1996, after which it was abandoned. The building faced demolition due to plans to construct an underground parking lot at the site. However, it was decided to temporarily relocate the Xinhua Street Office to a nearby parking lot in the Qingguo Market during construction, and it was returned to its original site after the completion of the work. In 2001, the Xinhua Street Office was selected as the fourth historical building in a competition to identify historical landmarks. On November 18, 2002, it was announced as a historical building. Currently, the building is used as a restaurant, and next door is the Yang Kui Literary Memorial Hall.
