The Sicao Ecological Green Tunnel, also known as the "Mini Amazon of Taiwan," has a name that evokes beautiful imagery. It feels as though you can enjoy exotic scenery without leaving the country. Unlike typical green tunnels, the Sicao Ecological Green Tunnel is a green tunnel on the water, where visitors can leisurely enjoy the view while riding a boat. At the boarding point, there are options to take either the Taijiang boat or a bamboo raft. Only with the bamboo raft can you enter the magical, otherworldly green tunnel! If you have enough time, it's recommended to take the Taijiang Ecological Sightseeing Boat for an even more scenic experience. The Sicao Ecological Green Tunnel is naturally formed by mangrove forests. As you slowly move along the river, you’ll feel a gentle breeze brushing against your face, hear the cheerful melodies of birds and insects, and see the sunlight filter through the gaps in the leaves, casting shimmering light onto the water. The reflections of the trees and the glimmering water create a truly captivating scene! The boat ride includes professional ecological guides who explain the different types of mangroves along the way. Helpful signage is also placed on the trees, so visitors can easily identify species like water mimosa and mangrove trees. If you're lucky, you may also see fiddler crabs, mudskippers, and white egrets! It’s an excellent spot to bring children to learn about ecology while enjoying the beautiful scenery. As you pass through the densest and most beautiful mangrove areas, the tree branches come close to the water's surface. Many of the branches are tied with ropes, almost within reach, creating a fun and unique experience for visitors who dodge these branches as if dancing like waves, adding a playful touch to the landscape. Take the Tainan City Bus (Route 10) to the Sicao Dazhong Temple Station. Alternatively, take the Tainan City Tourist Leisure Bus (Route 99, Tainan Park to Taijiang) to the Sicao Ecological Cultural Park.

From North to South:

1. Take National Highway 1 southbound → Xinshi (Tainan System) Interchange → National Highway 8 East-West Expressway → Anji Road → Right turn onto Anzhong Road → Follow Honda Street → After passing Tainan Science and Technology Industrial Park, enter Sicao and arrive at the Sicao Dazhong Temple. The ticketing and boat boarding area are next to the temple.

2. From Qigu southbound → Turn onto Anming Road → Right turn onto Honda Road → Left turn onto Sicao Avenue and go straight for about one kilometer, then left turn. Arrive at Sicao Dazhong Temple, and the ticketing and boat boarding area are next to the temple.

From South to North:

1. Take National Highway 1 northbound → Exit at Rende Interchange → Dongmen Road → Left turn onto Zhonghua East Road → Zhonghua South Road → Right turn onto Zhonghua West Road (Taiwan Route 17) Coastal Highway → Left turn onto Tainan Science and Technology Industrial Park along Honda Street, and arrive at Sicao Dazhong Temple. The ticketing and boat boarding area are next to the temple.

2. From Taiwan Route 17 West Coast Highway northbound → Zhonghua West Road → Left turn onto Anping Road → Right turn onto Anbei Road → Right turn onto Sicao Bridge and enter Sicao → Follow the signs, and the ticketing and boat boarding area will be next to the temple.
