Here’s what we can assist with and the required application timelines to ensure a smooth production.
Timeline for Road Usage, Locations, and Public Properties:
Road Closure Filming Application:

For major roads, applications must be submitted at least 30 working days in advance, and applicants must attend the city's interdepartmental coordination meetings.

For general roads (including sidewalk or work zone usage without lane closures), applications must be submitted at least 14 working days in advance.
Location Filming Application:
- For filming in other public venues or public institutions in Tainan City, applications must be submitted at least 15 working days in advance.
Special Coordination Application:

For use of special props such as police cars, applications must be submitted at least 30 working days in advance. Attendance at interdepartmental coordination meetings may be required.
Timeline for Additional Services: Private Venues:

The production team must contact the venue in advance and provide detailed information at least 14 working days prior for assistance with formal letters.

Subsidy for Filming:
- The "Tainan City Government Subsidy Guidelines for Film and TV Production" accepts applications every January. The maximum subsidy can reach up to NT$6 million. For details, please download the guidelines from our official website.
- Forms: All required forms can be downloaded from our website, or contact the Tainan Film and TV Support Center at 06-214-9510. Alternatively, email your filming proposal to ama@mail.tainan.gov.tw to request the forms.
Logo Placement:

All productions coordinated through this center must prominently display the Tainan City Government and the Tainan Film and TV Support Center logos at the beginning or end of the film.

All promotional materials, including printed materials, banners, backdrops, videos, DVD covers, etc., must feature the names "Tainan City Government" and "Tainan Film and TV Support Center."

The film’s official website or blog must include the Tainan City Government logo.
Media Exposure:

All productions coordinated through this center must mention "Tainan City Government" and "Tainan Film and TV Support Center" in all press releases. The production team must also agree to media set visits coordinated by the center.

The production team must provide behind-the-scenes photos taken in Tainan.

For internal documentation and non-profit promotional use, the center may assign personnel to photograph the filming process.
Project Completion:

The official website of the film will be linked to the Tainan Film and TV Support Center website for mutual promotion.

The production team must provide 12 high-resolution stills (at least 8MP, uncompressed JPEG or RAW) of identifiable filming scenes for promotional use.

One DVD copy of the final production must be submitted to the center for archival purposes.
