The "Zhu Jiuying Former Residence" is located next to the "Anping Tree House," and inside the residence, many of Zhu Jiuying's calligraphy works are on display. Zhu Jiuying was born in Changsha, Hunan Province, and after moving to Taiwan, he served as the "Director-General of the Salt Administration" for 17 years. He played a key role in the development of Taiwan's salt industry and improved the living standards of salt workers. Zhu Jiuying's talent in calligraphy is highly praised, and he is regarded as a master of contemporary Yan-style calligraphy. The "Zhu Jiuying Former Residence" was originally a dormitory for the Taiwan Salt Corporation. The nearby "Deji Trading House" and "Tree House" also belong to the Taiwan Salt Corporation. In recent years, these buildings have been renovated and opened to the public for visits. The renovated old dormitories of Taiwan Salt are diverse and rich in content, and can almost be seen as a 'Taiwan Salt History and Cultural Park.' Outside the "Zhu Jiuying Former Residence," there is a transparent wall that allows visitors to see the artistic space at a glance. The main building of the residence has preserved the original Japanese wooden structure, exuding a strong Japanese architectural style. This place has also become a popular spot for newlyweds to take wedding photos. The "Zhu Jiuying Former Residence" is now planned as a calligraphy exhibition hall, showcasing various calligraphy works by Zhu Jiuying, among which a wall of Yan-style Heart Sutra calligraphy is especially awe-inspiring.
